"This museum has alot of potential, unfortunately when I visited, most of the interactive exhibits were out of order and couldn't t be fixed due to the government withdrawal of its funding. Places like this, that preserve history in America are under attack. Blues music has many branches and that should be the point of going to the museum - to learn the truth. Anyway, I made a donation and I hope those who believe in telling the contributions of African Americans to every facet of American culture, including music, will do the same."

"Unfortunately, all of the interactive elements at the museum were out of service during our visit — every single one. We were really looking forward to an engaging, hands-on experience to enjoy as a family, but instead, it was mostly reading static information that can easily be found online. It ended up being boring for the kids, and overall, the ticket price didn’t feel justified given how much was unavailable. It's the blues museum! We should listen to it!"
