"Nice little place to visit in St. Mary's, GA. It is free to get in, but can leave a donation. My husband and I toured to first floor, but needed a guide for the second floor. You can call and arrange a guided tour! It's a beautiful house."
Nefritara
"This historic structure is a beautiful example of 1830's Greek revival style. Very interesting to learn about its many lives, from a fancy private home to when the Gilmans purchased it and converted it into multi-family use for workers. The city used it as a library later, and now it is a public museum. A lot of progress has been made inside and out, and the great volunteers and staff I met when I visited are probably just the tip of the iceberg. I like that there are also local events like weddings and volunteer days there. I think its great that the community gets to have this."
