"This state park is gorgeous!!! We love visiting here. The beach is big and spacious. You do have to walk a ways to get to the dog beach but it is a great place to go. The last time we visited this state park, it was very calm and serene. It can get busy though on warm weather days, particularly in the summer. We highly recommend that you visit this state park. Also, you really should go and visit Cave Point County Park as well when you’re here because it is so close and extremely beautiful."

"The whole family loved our visit to Whitefish Dunes. The beach on Lake Michigan was beautiful and the waves crashing on the shore so peaceful. The trails are fun and the fall colors were in full swing, making it even more beautiful than normal. I highly recommend a stop to enjoy all nature has to offer."
