The grocery store in the village had absolutely everything we needed and more. It’s so convenient to have a spot where you can grab anything from essentials to fun little extras, all without having to leave the village. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and helpful, which just adds to the charm of this place.
Walking through the village, there’s something for everyone. We stopped by the ice cream shop, which was perfect for a sunny day, and wandered into the art gallery showcasing talented local artists. There are great little boutiques throughout the village with unique finds you won’t see anywhere else. The shop owners are so kind and welcoming, making it a joy to browse and explore.
The whole environment is beautiful and dog friendly, which makes it even more inviting. There’s something about the sunshine, the open paths, and the friendly energy that just makes you want to slow down, walk around, and soak it all in.
I honestly can’t wait to go back to Sunriver Village to enjoy more shopping, grab another ice cream, and just spend more time in this cheerful, welcoming place.
The only thing I felt frustrated about is I wanted to send a piece of mail a postcard and a card and not a single store sold stamps. There was also not a single mailbox anywhere in this particular village. With that said, I asked a woman who was standing outside of what looked like a concierge spot, and every person standing there dug into their wallets or handbags. One lovely person pulled out a stamp for me. I still had to drive to the post office to mail it, but I thought it was fabulous that she refused to take money for the stamp and told me to pay it forward. I have since done just that."
