What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sycamore Flats offers a beautiful riverside experience with potential for great fishing and picnicking. While many praise the natural beauty and peaceful moments, some visitors express concerns about a lack of enforcement leading to issues like littering and off-season fishing. Recent volunteer efforts highlight a community dedicated to its preservation.
"Absolutely no patrols in this area of Pisgah. People fish here out of season and keep more than their limit, park anywhere ruining the grassy areas, leave trash wherever. It has been absolutely ruined due to lack of enforcement. Open drug use, I could go on and on. What happened to game wardens?!?!? Very 😢 sad."
