Hi I will be in Driggs Idaho for about 2 days as part of a vacation my boyfriend and I are taking. We will be there starting June 18th! Does anyone have any recommendations for trails? My boyfriend and I have never been to the area. We do lots of walking and hiking at home but…

Entry level mountains in idaho?
I'm looking at getting into mountaineering, but I wanna try some mountains close to me first. Would Mount borah be a good first mountain? I love hiking and love to be challenged, but I feel like there's probably both easier and harder around here that I should look at.

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Table Mountain is lauded for its absolutely breathtaking, unparalleled views of the Grand Tetons, making it a top hiking destination. While the challenging Face Trail is a draw for experienced hikers, the Huckleberry Trail offers a more accessible route. Some visitors find the descent steep and slippery, requiring careful footing.
"This hike is not too difficult. For beginners, if you are looking for a challenge, go up the face trail. The other trail is pretty easy. Nice views!"
Bryce Terry
"This was without a doubt the best hike of my entire life. It was truly a breathtaking experience both literally and figuratively! I took the Face Trail up and back down due to time restraints and it is very steep, be careful and watch your footing.
The view of the mountain range at the top was the best view by far. I even had 2 ravens join me at the top as I enjoyed the view. I would 100% recommend this to anyone in decently good shape as the hike is a bit difficult."
BudZ2003
"It was a very challenging hike. It is not a maintained trail. It’s very rugged. The first two mile are very steep and then it becomes more gradual till the last mile which is very steep and climbs up atop Table Mountain
Table Mountain boasts incredible views of the Grand Tetons. Its summit sits on the boundary of the Jedediah Smith Wilderness and Grand Teton National Park, but the trail itself comes in from the Idaho side and is entirely in the Jedediah Smith Wilderness area.
Beautiful views and scenery from start to finish. Stunning views from the top.
Heading down the trail is not a problem till the last two miles. The ruggedness and steepness challenge you knees and thighs plus the trail is very slippery due to the loose soil and small rocks."
