What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Theatre on the Square for its excellent acoustics, comfortable seating, and intimate atmosphere. The staff are consistently described as welcoming and helpful. While the venue offers a great experience for theatre, comedy, and music, some guests note the limited restroom facilities and the absence of a dedicated snack bar.
"Excellent acoustics and great seats. Very good staff here too. Only one restroom for the entire place, and no concession for drinks or snack items at all…."

"The Theatre District in Tacoma brings in talent of all types from across the globe. The Theatre on the Square is an integral part of hosting them. Granted they don't get the hype as their next door historical neighbors, but they provide an excellent venue and are a part of the Tacoma Arts Live buildings (used to be The Broadway Center). Keep in mind you can park at Freighthouse Square and take the Link Light Rail for free to the Theatre District as long as it is running after your showtime. #LetsGuide #LocalGuides"

"My most recent experience at the rheater was to see SOTA High School's production of the Addams Family. It's a nice little theater and the staff very nice."
