"Always a great hike and beautiful view. Please be mindful that Timber Rattlesnakes are present at the overlook, so watch where you step because they like to sunbathe on the rocks. They are not naturally aggressive and would rather run away vs. engage, so just give them their space and you'll be fine."

"There's a gorgeous view of portions of the Lehigh Gorge state park from the edge of the Tank Hallow trail. There are multiple spots for parking (depending on what gates area open). A good portion of the hike was on a gravel road that cars can also access."
