"We had a great time! We had an extra day to fill in, so we headed to Tarpon Springs. The hostess held our luggage while we were on the boat. The boat tour was very good. We learned many new and interesting facts from George and his crew. We got to see hands on how the sponge docks used to operate at a reasonable price."

"Nice family owned business, they have been operational for a little over 100 years!!!! The tour was very informative about the origin of sponging in tarpon springs and the process of sponging in the area, dubbing it the sponge capital of the world. Staff was very friendly, might want to bring some blanket or light jackets as it was breezy. Tour exceeded my expectations"

"We had a great time on the St. Nicholas boat line tour in Tarpon Speings. I know more about the area and how the Greek community sprung up to support the developing sponging industry after they found sponges in the area in the deep waters of Florida and the invention of the diving helmet and suit. It was pretty fascinating to see a sponge from the water and learn how they are cleaned, as well as the different types of sponges they harvest. This company has been doing this for over a 100 years and their pride doing so shines! And at $17/person for an hour boat ride is a steal as many tours are around 40-60."
