What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
ASU Tempe is praised for its vibrant campus life and diverse academic offerings, with many appreciating the iconic Palm Walk and bustling Memorial Union. However, some reviews highlight concerns about administrative bureaucracy, large class sizes, and impersonal student support, with a few noting challenges in communication and personalized attention.
"I had to finish my degree at another university because they could not correct an administrative glitch from when I was on medical leave after a motorcycle accident.
ASU does not care about students. They care about money. Period. They are causing harm to the community with disinterested administrators, contradictory information, and innavigable bureaucracy. There is no personalization, compassion, or interest in individual success. The advisors are a joke. And if there’s an administrative issue to work out, brace yourself for a challenge. The people lost in the cracks of this toxic institution are the ones with the least amount of resources to make it right. I am an immigrant who comes from a family with no formal education. I was new to the world of academia and all I needed was some care and guidance. A place of learning is meant to fill you with hope and promise, but this institution made me feel powerless, hopeless and angry."

"Very disappointed as I inquired about a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling and was told that the state that I’m in would be fine as I would be an online student and am now being told that is not the case and it won’t be feasible. Very difficult to get a hold of someone at this university and poor communication."

"I made a big mistake of expressing interest on their website using my real phone number. Now they won’t stop spam calling me. Even when I politely told them to stop. Super annoying."
