"A very nice museum depicting the home of General Knox! It is a replica of his home in Thomaston, but don't let that fool you as it is still an old building. (And still originally designed by him). The volunteers were amazing, helpful and insightful! I arrived seconds after a tour left to the first room and I was able to join them...it was great! The tour was a great length, informative and the man giving it was so nice. You can tell he has passion! If you are looking to write a novel in this time period, highly suggest a visit for visual context and of course the history. History buff, also a must to visit if in the area. I love the time period. The admission price was WELL worth it and I really had a great time!
There are bathrooms!"
