"We visited for the first time to see sculpture by Clifford Ward. The space was terrific to showcase his dynamic work. The opening was jammed with art lovers, but didn't feel stifling. High ceilinged and expansive, Artworks appears to be a converted warehouse. In the back, a few artists had open studios, which was a pleasant surprise. Our only unpleasant surprise was completely empty walls near the refreshments table -- why not fill those with art or artistic textiles too (anything besides boring plain white drywall)?"
