Daveste Vineyards is easily one of my favorite places in the Lake Norman area. It’s the kind of spot you almost don’t want to share because it’s that good — peaceful, relaxing, and just the right mix of laid-back and special.
The setting is beautiful and quiet, with plenty of space to sit back, sip, and enjoy the view. Whether you’re out on the patio, walking the grounds, or just hanging out with friends, the whole place has a calm, inviting feel that keeps you coming back.
What really makes Daveste stand out, though, is the variety of events they host — from Latin night to yoga and wine, to wine tastings and vineyard tours. They’re always doing something new and fun, and it’s clear they put a lot of thought into the details.
The staff is genuinely the sweetest — super friendly, welcoming, and always happy to chat or answer questions. They make you feel right at home every time.
