The building has maintained its historic appeal, preserving its original character and atmosphere, which complements the various artistic ventures housed within its walls.
The courtyard area has recently been updated with a beautiful wooden walkway and new sitting areas. There are also more improvements planned for the outdoor space, adding to the warehouse's evolving charm.
Home to multiple entities working the warehouse walls, each contribute to the rich cultural experience. Inside, you’ll find Untitled Gallery, Xerocraft Makerspace, Steinfeld Gallery, Subspace Gallery, and the uniquely named florist, Buds, Blooms, and Badasses. Within Steinfeld Gallery, there are several artist studios, providing local artists a space to create and showcase their work. "This is a unique place: a cooperative of artists, artisans, craftspeople in traditional arts and very modern artistic endeavors such as 3D printing. It is also a place that gives back to the community by having Repair sessions, along with lessons. Members can volunteer to show visitors around and introduce them to the tools and the arts of jewelers, wood workers, engravers, glass artisans, and this contributes to defraying the cost of membership, which itself allows for work space, tools and camaraderie. We had a terrific set of people who engaged with us and spoke at length about the creative process that go into the use of often large and unwieldy looking tools a lay person such as myself might not think is a method of producing art , and artistic designs. However, this place is not open to the general public all the time, so check in advance. I believe the window of opportunity for a visit is the second and fourth Saturday of the month, in the afternoon. this is not your run of the mill place to visit….you have to want to immerse yourself for a little while into a whole new world. But oh, so worth it for those who do! A magnificent set of people indeed!"
