What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Centennial Park for its scenic beauty, accessible paved trails, and family-friendly amenities like playgrounds and water features. It's a popular spot for photography, especially for capturing the Tulsa skyline at sunset. Some reviews mention litter and a feeling of sketchiness at night, suggesting daytime visits are preferred.
"This is a lovely park with paved trails. It connects to the Midland Valley Trail which takes you to a park, tennis/pickleball courts and Oaklawn Cemetery. One corner of the cemetery is dedicated to the victims of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. It's hard to think about the sheer hatred of those that led the violence to the community. May the victims rest in peace."
Rachel Byington
"Nice park for the most part. A little more litter than I like to see and it's a nice mix of pill bottles, QT, and narcan."
TF
"Although there was some trash in the water, it didn't show in my photos. Lots of photographers were doing family portraits against the backdrop of beautiful fall foliage. Nice path around the park, along the water, with plenty of places to stop and rest for people with mobility issues. It's a really beautiful place to visit when the leaves are changing color!
Could it feel "sketchy" if you're walking alone? At night, definitely. During the day, it seemed fine."
