"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Father Serra Cross – Ventura, CA
Father Serra Cross (The Cross) is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Ventura. The views are absolutely breathtaking — you can see the ocean, the mountains, and the entire city all at once. It feels like you're looking at a postcard come to life.
One of my favorite ways to get here is by taking the trail from the Ventura Botanical Gardens. The hike is gorgeous, filled with native plants, ocean breezes, and stunning vistas the entire way. Whether you hike up or drive, the destination is worth every step.
You can have weddings up here, enjoy the trails, or simply sit on one of the benches and soak in the view. I come often just to sit quietly, pray, and look out at the ocean. It’s truly a magnificent spot that brings a sense of calm and gratitude.
There’s usually plenty of parking, and the area is easy to access. To me, this place represents Ventura at its finest — peaceful, beautiful, and full of heart. In my opinion, it’s one of the most beautiful places in the Ventura County.
I’ll include pictures so you can see just how incredible it really is."

"Perched high above the city, the park offers breathtaking panoramic views of Ventura, the coastline, and the Channel Islands on a clear day. Sunset is pure magic up here!
The park is small and simple & parking can be a little tight, especially at sunset, so be prepared to park further down and walk up the hill. But honestly, the short hike is worth every step.
I’d definitely recommend bringing a light jacket since it can get breezy, even on warm days"
