"Golden Sands is a gorgeous beach to take your family, so long as you don’t want to swim. This beach is realistically meant for shell enthusiasts who are looking to add to their collection. Un fortunately, the current is usually tough and swimming is not easily an option. Also, be careful with children. There were tons of man o wars out in seaweed pods near the water."

"A truly beautiful beach!!! I started visiting this beach more recently and I have fallen in love. Not once have I not found a parking spot. The beach is clean, and the sand is a nice golden color. Lifeguards are on duty from 9 am to 5 pm, and super friendly and always paying attention to the water. Restrooms are on site as well as 2 showers to rinse off the sand. As for the part of the beach were the sand meets the water, it is nice and flat and then it drops pretty quickly and gets pretty steep and deep. However after you swim through that deep-ish soft spot you, slowly start to reach a sand bank, which is quite nice . I have been there multiple times and every time I see sea turtles out in the water. Another great thing is when it is low tide, the sand bank is about waist deep for me (I am 5'3). This is definitely my new favorite local beach, and you can definitely expect me to be returning."

At the end of the boardwalk, I noticed two people fishing despite the rules, suggesting enforcement might be inconsistent. On the bright side, the beach features a modern, inviting playground tucked away nearby, which is great for kids.
The beach is exceptionally clean and includes nice outdoor showers and a lifeguard station, reinforcing its family-friendly vibe. While it’s perfect for those seeking a calm, safe atmosphere, the restrictions might disappoint visitors looking for more action."
