"Erected after the wreck of the Dictator, a Norwegian ship which fell victim to the Graveyard of the Atlantic off the shore here in the 1890s. The brave Coast Guard and other Virginia Beachers helped save as many as they could, and the Norwegian Lady stands as a memorial to those who passed and to honour those who were brave enough to save them. Moss, Norway has the same exact statue that has the same inscription facing out to sea there as well. Located right by the Naval Aviation Memorial, you can consolidate visits easy. Cheers."
