"Been coming here since I was kid. Families favorite beach to go to given the vicinity to Waikoloa. Calm and clear waters. If you visit, go to the left side of the beach, much nicer. Away from all the tourists."

"I googled this spot because I was looking for turtles and I found them! Sweet babies! We went around sunset, just remember to give them space (photo is zoomed in!)"
Liz Marie
"Human ourselves are not the only species that enjoy sun-bathing. Turtle also likes sun-bathing as well. With a little effort to stroll along the sand to a little bit more seclusive area, one can sport turtles on the sand beach, sometimes they lie on the Rocky area but mostly, they prefer sand. They can sun-bathe for hours without moving at all. Sometimes, one can see a family of turtles staying next to each other. Some pair off - look like a couple - to sun-bath together."
