I had been there before, but on this return trip I was reminded how well this site preserves not only President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s memory but also the spirit of an entire era. The museum at the entrance is beautifully arranged and tells the story of FDR’s life with care and clarity—covering his struggle with polio, his time in Warm Springs, the Great Depression, the New Deal, and his years of leadership through some of America’s hardest times. The displays blend photos, artifacts, and storytelling that bring history to life without feeling overdone. The staff were outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about sharing FDR’s legacy. The grounds and buildings are immaculately maintained, giving you a real sense of stepping back in time. "Great place to visit in Warm Springs Ga, historical and behind the scenes of FDR and his Presidency. Tour Guides and staff are very knowledgeable, friendly. Lots to see, can come and go all day, on-site picnic tables, great gift shop, reasonably priced too. Also right by historic downtown with all kinds of shops and places to eat, try the Bulloch house for lunch buffet, awesome."
