Does this city have a large/ long stairs or staircase
There are cities with towers or even parks with an enormous amount of stairs between 100s and 1000s. That is open to the public to be walked. I just want to know does the city of Warner Robins or Macon have a large set of stairs or staircase open to the public to walk. Either…

What are some “must see” locations for visiting Georgia?
My family is going to visit a friend in Georgia soon. We will definitely be spending a day in Thomaston, and a few days in Warner Robins. We are also willing to drive into Atlanta for a day if there is anything cool there. We do have two teenagers (17 and 16) so we won’t…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sandy Run Park offers a peaceful natural setting with accessible boardwalks and a popular turtle overlook. However, recent visitors have noted significant issues with park maintenance, including trash and overgrown areas, which detract from the experience. Some also report non-functioning amenities and safety concerns.
"Was a beautiful park when it opened. I haven’t been there for a minute. Went today and whoever looks over the park has just given up or don’t care. It is filthy, trashy and just sad to see it in the state it’s in. Trash is everywhere under the walkways through the park. Where you see the turtles usually, there’s some kind of oil substance. The walkway on the other side is covered in mold. Seems it’s turning in to a literal dump, as it’s everywhere. Someone needs to step it up."

"Only thing there is a 2 minute board walk. No hill or slides. Not worth going if you don’t live near. There was trash all down by the water."

"Update: 14 May 2025. Slides are gone
This is an OK little park. Not too busy. Parking area for about 40 cars. Two big slides for kids, a pavilion, concrete walkway and two boardwalks through wetlands. Dogs allowed. Need some TLC. Grass is overgrown. Weeds and vines are creeping up on the boardwalks. light fixtures not working along the pathways. There is an eternal flame in memory of victims of violent crime except it is not burning. Water fountain for people and dogs but it is not functioning."
