What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Caesar Creek State Park is praised as a peaceful retreat with scenic trails, a calm lake, and clean campsites. Visitors enjoy the beach for relaxation and sunsets, and the unique fossil hunting opportunities. While some facilities like the Pioneer Village could use updates, the park offers a wilder, more natural experience ideal for outdoor recreation.
"This place can be overwhelming for the first time walking in. Parking is $2. There are all walks of life that visit. There are booths of all kinds available. On a nice day there’s some stuff outside between the buildings. There are some repetitive booths. The stuff outside looked more like a junk store. I was disappointed in some of the booth owners not even acknowledging that we were there, but those who did were very nice. Some booths are cash only. It does have food, tables, places to sit. It’s not AC but there are large fans to help so it wasn’t bad. When you go, make sure you have time to walk."
