Visitors consistently praise Weehawken Waterfront Park for its absolutely breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline, especially at sunset. The park is also lauded for its clean walking paths, peaceful atmosphere, and an excellent, free calisthenics park. However, a significant drawback is the highly criticized and difficult-to-navigate system for booking tennis courts, which frustrates many residents.
"One of the best-kept secrets along the Hudson! Weehawken Waterfront Park offers breathtaking skyline views of Manhattan, especially at sunset. The walking paths are clean and peaceful, and the park has plenty of benches, green space, and a well-maintained playground and track area. Great for jogging, family strolls, or just relaxing by the water. A perfect place to unwind with a view!"

"Beautiful view. Good shade. Quiet. Rush hour can get a bit exhausty"

"I come to this waterfront and park mainly for the amazing views of Manhattan. Besides that, I come to this park for this underrated and overlooked calisthenic park. There are lots of calisthenic apparatuses here. One of them being the climbing ropes which you'd be pressed to find at any calisthenics area anywhere in the world. During the summer time there's plenty of shade and its RIGHT by the water, which helps a ton to cool down. During the winter, if its frigid outside, then yeah, its going to be that much colder over here, so keep that in mind. If it's not too cold though, it's not that bad. Plenty of space, and lots of room for use. Its a pretty underrated calisthenics area and its usually never that packed. Really great area to workout and train, especially for the calisthenics enthusiast. Lots of attractive and fit people usually come here if they're running by. Always good people and energy. You can't beat getting a FREE workout, while getting an amazing view of NYC!"
