"We came from indiana to get some seafood to bring back with us and this place did not disappoint. It is a whole lot with different vendors lined up showing tubs of what they have for sale...crawfish was out of season but there was a lot of shrimp..live blue crabs of different sizes...all types of fish..snapper..talapia..red fish..trout..etc..and the westwego market carries best stop boudin hot to eat or in the deli cabinet for you to purchase by the pound as well as all types of sausages and a selection of frozen meats. There is a bathroom on site. And the market has soft drinks and beer available for purchase. Great prices. Friendly vendors...bring your coolers and a bunch of ice."
