Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the April Bowl Trail Hatch Peak for its stunning 360-degree summit views and the chance to see wildlife like marmots. However, many emphasize that the hike is difficult, not moderate, with challenging loose rock sections that require caution and proper footwear. The lack of facilities is also a noted drawback.

"Awesome hike!
Beautiful 360 views at the top.
I’m total we did 4.5km.
There is no bathrooms.
There is a couple parking lot options.
Road getting there wasn’t bad just a few potholes."

"Great place. Quick amazing sights and longer trails for those who want a challenge. Beautiful lake and valley views. Saw many marmots. Parking was easy and it was rather busy. Visited in July and the trail was 95% clear of snow."

Lauren Newton

"This is a spectacular summit view. That said, it’s difficult (not moderate) hike. A lot of vertical gain and the latter half is alot of dirt/rock hills with loose gravel/rocks so very easy to slip. I would not bring children on this hike. We saw a mom have to catch here 6yr old that slipped and fell. A fall would hurt a lot and some falls would be very bad/injury/death.
I suggest you do this one, but be very careful. I would not do this after or during a rain as the narrow paths would be even my slippery.
