From the moment we arrived on September 8, 2025, the experience was exceptional. The young man who checked us in delivered top-tier customer service. He was not only professional but also incredibly knowledgeable about the area, offering great recommendations for local dining spots.
What truly made our stay unforgettable was the compassion and respect shown to my adult son, who has cerebral palsy. The same young man worked both nights of our visit and went above and beyond to ensure my son felt welcomed and valued—not just as a guest, but as a person. That kind of kindness is rare and deeply appreciated.
For the adults, happy hour was a lovely touch. And for the kids and non-drinkers, the hotel offered milk and cookies—a sweet gesture that made everyone feel included. The entire staff was friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. It was such a refreshing experience.

"We absolutely adored our stay at the Brookstown Inn! The rooms were spacious and clean and the AC worked well (always a plus for us as we like it cold when we sleep). The inn is beautiful and completely charming! Complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoon and Cookies and Milk in the evening is a rare kind of hospitality you just don't find often anymore. The location was also wonderful - walking distance to Old Salem and other shops and restaurants. Several local coffee spots nearby too. The breakfast in the morning was great!"
