What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking, panoramic views from Jelm Mountain, calling the observatory a must-see attraction. The drive up is described as bumpy but well worth the effort for the spectacular scenery. While the observatory itself is interesting, the main draw is the expansive vista of Wyoming and Colorado.
"Breath-taking scenery. Not a bad ride up, a bit bumpy but well worth it."
Brigida Fenelon
"This place is a very interesting location. It's located on the peak of the mountain top. It's located just south of Jelm and Woods landing. You can make it up here but only during the summer. I think with the elevation you would find snow up here. I drove up here in July and it was warm. No snow. If you drive a SUV even without a 4x4 you can make it up here. It's a very steep but well maintained dirt road. Once you make it to the top you will be amazed by the view of Wyoming and Colorado. Definitely you must see this attraction. It will take you about an hour round trip with taking pictures at the top."

"We went to the observatory simply for pictures. The view is amazing & definitely worth the drive."
