What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Narrows Reserve for its well-maintained, flat trails along the Little Miami River and the abundance of old Sycamore trees, making it ideal for photography and leisurely walks. The chance to spot wildlife like frogs and bald eagles is a significant draw. While The Narrows in Zion is lauded as an unforgettable, bucket-list hike with stunning canyon scenery, some find the need for specialized gear and the potential for crowds to be drawbacks.
"Apparently the nature center closes in the winter, which is a shame. The trails are easy to follow and there’s several miles worth, making for a solid few hours you can spend here. Typical vault restrooms at the parking lot, which has plenty of spaces. Okay, the bald eagle, I only saw one and it was on the river trail towards the end furthest away from the parking lot where other trail heads are at. Coming in the winter greatly increases your chances of seeing it with the leaves gone. It was across the river up in the the nearby trees looking for fish in the river."

"I've been hearing people mention this place for years. I never went because the name always made me think of the Pet cemetery near Vandalia. I live on the east side of Kettering now and decided to check it out.
It's absolutely wonderful! I love that the river is there and that the trails are well-maintained and mostly flat.
I am a tree hugger so I couldn't have been in a better place! The trees are incredible as others have mentioned and as an amateur photographer I have lots of opportunities."
