"It was truly a hot day but the organization in the Vatican is second to none! Very well done. We did not have to wait in the sun at all and everything went very smoothly. Apparently 30,000 people come through there daily but it is a well oiled machine. Inside is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful and the most magnificent looking church in the world - surely! The statues and ceiling work and overall beauty in art is incredible."

"Such a beautiful and famous basilica that all of us have seen and heard about. Make sure to arrive on early if you have a tour since you have to pass long security lines to get in. We went at 7:30ish am on a Thursday and we waited about 15 minutes to get in. By the time we left a few hours later the line was quadruple in size. Inside the basilica is beautiful and peaceful. So many tourists enjoying themselves and a mass was going on. The gift shop was nice with many options of souvenirs to buy. Make sure to see the catacombs of the past popes since it’s free. All you have to do is get in line and wait to enter it. If you are up for adventure as well definitely climb the dome to the top. It’s many steps around 450 I think but definitely worth it. If you buy the elevator ticket it takes you up about half way and the views are incredible. St Peter’s basilica is amazing and should be visited by everyone when in Rome."
