Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking beauty and the unforgettable experience of the Teleférico Mukumbarí, calling it a once-in-a-lifetime journey. The stunning landscapes and the unique opportunity to see snow in Venezuela are major highlights. However, some note the high cost for foreign visitors and the demanding nature of trekking at high altitudes.

"I visited Pico Bolivar 2017 with a good Venezuelan friend. Since I’m not Venezuelan the price was astronomical to ride but I figured it was once in a lifetime. It was better than I had imagined. They had a good restaurant at the first level where one could dine overlooking Mérida. I served a mission with my church back in the ‘80’s to Venezuela and consider it my second country. The country and it’s people are terrific like the teleférico!"

"several days of trekking brought us to this summit. cool trip but dont underestimate that you carry 25 kg backpack for many days in thin air."

"I was here a long time ago( 30 years. Not that long) but am still in love with it. And Merida. And the beautiful Venezuelan, and Venezuelans, who taught me so much, that I still remember!"
