What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking natural beauty of Ha Long Bay, with its iconic limestone karsts and emerald waters. The spiritual ambiance and panoramic views from Cua Ong Temple are also highly appreciated. Some travelers note that cruise experiences can vary, and it's important to choose reputable operators for safety and enjoyment.
"I was there at the weekend and because it was after the lunar new year, the temple was very crowded. There was not only 1 temple but temples and pagodas on the same mountains. Most of the temples look new especially the statue at the top of the mountain. From the top, there was a good view of the sea. On that day, somebody threw rice everywhere so it was quite dangerous to walk on it. The janitor cleaned continuously but there was too much rice everywhere. Everything was quite clean. At the top area and the entrance, there were many street vendors that sold offerings and food. There was an old pagoda there but it was very crowded there on that day so I couldn't enter."
