What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Elephant Springs offers a beautiful natural escape with refreshing waterfalls and clear waters, complemented by delicious local food. However, visitors should be prepared for a potentially confusing and inconsistent entry fee process, with some reporting multiple payment requests. Despite these administrative quirks, the natural beauty and culinary offerings make it a worthwhile visit for many.
"Absolutely bizarre place that is nothing like previous reviews. The main area had no stalls or walkways like other photos suggest, we were the only people there. Road to get there was pretty bumpy, entry was through a construction site and cost 60kvd. It seems like the previous tourism has disappeared, no signs of stalls or locals showing you to signs.
However, it was incredibly beautiful, the water was clean and the springs acted like a little water slide. Definitely worth a visit, we went at 3:30pm on a Saturday, maybe it is not always touristy."

"After reading some of these reviews about issues with paying I’m glad it wasn’t just me.
I paid 20k along the road for a ticket to visit the waterfall and when arrived a guy asked if I was swimming and I said no as I had no plan to. I met some people and decided to go in and as I was leaving the man asked me for 20k, which I refused, saying I had paid on the road and he claimed that was just for bike parking.
I know 20k isn’t much but I’ve never heard of having to pay extra to swim at a small waterfall & I asked others there and they said they hadn’t paid for it. Apparently there is somewhere further up the road you can swim for free but not sure if this is true.
The water was very clear and nice and cool, but a real shame about the money grabbers."

"What an experience. It all starts by buying entrance tickets to the park and as soon as you park the bike it gets pretty weird. Ladies come to you and show you the way, and you wonder why are they doing that. They sent us through a trail in the forest for 10 minutes, until you realize what's happening: the spring became a succession of bars/huts in which people charge you 50k just to sit there. After the initial shock, you start to realize that actually its very pleasant, the water is cold but good enough for a warm day. Spent there 2 hours and I wish I could have stayed longer."
