What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tra Que Vegetable Village offers a unique glimpse into traditional organic farming and fresh, local cuisine. Visitors praise the immersive farming experiences and the scenic beauty of the gardens. However, some find the dining options to be overpriced for the quality and portion sizes, suggesting it caters heavily to tourists.
"Organised visit from hotel, by bike. Wonderful landscape, very hot and humid (mid-July) but very beautiful. We did some farm work, cooked and ate bio products and had foot massage. Wonderful experience, I highly recommend !"

"Overpriced food for the rather basic food being provided. We had something similar to banh xeo, the best of the dishes we tried but I think rather average for what it was. The stir fried chicken in lemongrass and chili was unimpressive; the chicken was rather dry, and the dish was overall lacking in flavor. We also had braised pork claypot, and this was lacking in depth. The earthy flavor was too dominant. Overall disappointing experience. I appreciate the organic and vegan initiatives of the restaurant, but the experience and prices do indicate that this is a place catering to tourists. Not a place for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Hopefully they could improve the preparation of these dishes, at the very least. Servers were kind!"

"It was really interesting to learn that all the vegetables used locally in the market all come from this farm. We rode through on a bike tour and stopped for some really good tea in their small cafe."
