Reviews Summary

Yevpatoria-Kurort Railway Station is appreciated for its unique, preserved USSR-era architecture and nostalgic ambiance. While some find the security checks overly strict and restroom facilities could be improved, the station offers a distinct historical experience and helpful staff have been noted in emergencies.

"The old railway station building is architecturally interesting. The original 1915 building has not survived (it was damaged during the German occupation during World War II). It was rebuilt in the early 1950s, using a different design. Restoration is currently underway. Access to the platform is through the new building. In my opinion, the security screening procedures are extremely excessive. The station itself is a dead-end station. Commuter trains to Sevastopol depart via Simferopol. Public restrooms, unfortunately, are not particularly clean. Long-distance trains only operate in the summer: one to St. Petersburg, numbers 179/180, and another to Moscow."

"A beautiful station with a rich history, being inside you find yourself in the USSR era, since then nothing has changed there, wooden seats, avant-garde chandeliers, ticket offices. The electric train only goes in one direction to Simferopol."

Кристина Зверещук

"Nice town with sandy beaches, liked the old town!"
