As this is my first time touring the cemetery, my opinion:
- Well maintained, very clean.
- The many signs are illegible.
☆ Dr. Ramón Madariaga: A Spanish-born physician, well-known in the city of Posadas for his dedication to the poor and his philanthropy. He was president of the Roque Pérez Masonic Lodge, who collaborated in the construction of the white marble bust years after his death. The only one of its kind in this cemetery, the current Acute Care School Hospital bears his name in honor of his great work.
A street in Posadas, which leads to the replica building of the former railroad station, was also named after him.
☆ Clotilde M. Gonzáles de Fernández Ramos: Local educational icon, writer, teacher, piano, history, and geography professor. She managed the first secondary schools in the National Territory of Misiones, now the province (Coeducational Teacher Training School, National College, First Music Institute).
She also managed charitable organizations and the public library. Married to journalist Raimundo Fernández Ramos."

"It is improving little by little thanks to the guided tours, but they should do them more often and at times more in line with common people. Furthermore, the arrangements were concentrated at the entrance, and one walks a little through the corridors and finds many forgotten and dilapidated tombs, for example the old burning chapel that is about to collapse at any moment. The area adjacent to the Gendarmerie Pantheon seems in a state of total abandonment. But I think that if they add more guided tours, more people will come and maybe the maintenance will improve even more."
