What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning ocean views and abundant wildlife, particularly the sea lion colonies and the chance to see whales. The well-maintained paths and installations are appreciated, making it an enjoyable experience. However, a significant drawback is the reliance on cash, with unreliable ATMs causing issues for many tourists.
"Great views of the ocean and of the beaches with wildlife below.
Road was well preserved when we visited.
The installations and paths are also very well maintained. Worth visiting!"

"It's rare to find place in Argentinean south which would remind you of Europe. But this place did remind me of Italy or Spain, well- kept little village with clean streets. It is small so you park your car on the right side before a small roundabout and proceed to the sea. I believe you won't need more than 30 or 40 minutes if you just walk around and don't go for a swim."

"Great village but if you come as a tourist TAKE A LOT OF CASH BEFORE, we were a few having issues there cause the entrance to the national park is cash only (850 for forreigners in 2019 when i have been) then the bus can only be paid cash, the hostel could only be paid cash (whales tours and shops accept cards at least) and the only cash machine in the village was not working (and is never working it seems ... And when it does it is anyway not the same communication system as the foreign cards so it cannot work!)
All the whales boat companies have the same price and similar timing so i would recommend you to compare them mainly on the kind of boat they have and the number of people booked for the next trip. I had a boat with only 15 persons and that was really enjoyable not to be 100 on a two levels boat where you wouldn't see much."
