Planning Your Visit

Accessing Blackstone Beach

Blackstone Beach isn't your typical sandy shore. Reaching it often requires a 4x4 vehicle or a hike, especially if you're coming from the Natural Bridge area. Plan your transport accordingly to avoid getting stuck on rough terrain.

What to Bring for Your Visit

This secluded spot offers natural beauty, not amenities. Pack plenty of water, snacks, and something to sit on. Sun protection is crucial as there's little shade, and comfortable hiking shoes are a must if you plan to walk.

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Blackstone Beach's unique black stones and stunning coastal scenery, calling it a peaceful, secluded gem perfect for beachcombing and photography. While not ideal for swimming, its raw natural beauty and the rewarding hike from the Natural Bridge make it a worthwhile destination for those seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience.

"Pro tip: park at the Natural bridge and hike to Blackstone Beach (2.2 miles out and back). Beautiful views, and you’ll be the only ones out there- most tourists opt to drive ATVs instead. Just bring lots of water and be careful not to go between 12-2pm - there’s no shade along the way."

"Fabulous secluded beach . Nothing there other than a shelter but it’s a great beach for fossils, and swimming . Take food and something to sit on . You will also need a 4x4 to drive the road to get there , but it’s worth it .
Maybe camp out overnight if you’re able .
Amazing coastal scenery"

"A very peaceful beach. I could sit and listen to the water rushing over the stones for a long time. Because there is less foot traffic, there are so many beautiful seashells, kelp, and coral washed up."
