What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Conchi Natural Pool is a unique and beautiful spot, offering a refreshing dip in a secluded ocean pool. Visitors rave about the colorful fish and dramatic coastal scenery. However, the challenging access via rough roads or a steep hike deters some, and the pool can get crowded with tour groups.
"A once in lifetime experience..meaning if you rent a jeep and drive there you will never go again. It was very cool but the unpaved roads and made it something to go to once and done. It was good to see once."

"Another tourist trap in the so-called "National Park". The pool itself is nice, but it is crowded with tourists who come with tourist agencies. Every half hour, there is a couple of cars arriving to the parking lot, each with 8 to 10 people, so there is constantly at least about 30 people in the pool. The area is accessible only by a 4WD, so rent a Jeep and make sure you know how to operate it. 4L is useful for breaking when going in the steep downhill sections."

"amazing place! so cool and their are colorful fish that swim in the pools! rocks are slippery so definitely be careful and go with a local or a guide"

Experiencing the Natural Pool Safely
While the pool is protected from the open sea by the encircling rocks, it's still important to be aware of your surroundings. Observe the water conditions before entering, and if you're not a strong swimmer, stay in the shallower areas. The pool is home to colorful fish, making it a great spot for snorkeling. Bringing your own snorkel gear will allow you to get a closer look at the marine life.
Supervision is crucial, especially for children. Hold onto handrails where available, particularly on the steps leading down to the pool, as some can be quite steep. Enjoy the natural beauty, but always prioritize your safety and be respectful of the environment.
