The towering Sequoia trees and tranquil environment are consistently praised, offering a unique natural experience. However, the lack of cell service and potential for getting lost on unpaved roads are noted drawbacks, along with parking challenges during peak times.

"A stunning redwood forest that is well worth a slight detour on our way back to Melbourne from the Great Ocean Road. There are a few picnic tables available just before the entrance. It is only a brief walk from the car park to the redwoods, making it quite suitable for elderly visitors as well.

Do take note that there is no cellphone signal in this area. We accidentally took the wrong exit and ended up driving on an unpaved road for a very long time. In hindsight, we should have turned left and followed the same main road we came from.

A beautiful and peaceful stop, but make sure to navigate carefully."

"A great stop along our journey of the Great Ocean Road. Sealed roads all the way, although no reception once there. A well marked sign clearly shows the picnic area and entrance to the forest with walking tracks. Car park can be very wet and muddy in Winter, parking can be tight. Plenty of open space and a worth while photo opportunity!"
