Definitely one of the best scenic stops in the area. It’s a peaceful and well-maintained spot, great for a relaxing break during your travels. If you’re quiet (which can be tricky if you’ve got kids along!), you’re likely to spot a range of native animals nearby, which adds to the magic of the experience. There’s ample parking, clean facilities, informative signage, and picnic tables to enjoy lunch with a view. We were staying in nearby Mackay and was told to check it out and I'm glad we did. A must-visit if you're passing through!"
