What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa for its unique vintage charm, relaxing mineral waters, and less crowded atmosphere compared to some other hot springs. The private baths are a highlight for couples seeking a serene escape. However, some find the pricing steep for the limited pool access in standard sessions, and the unisex changing rooms are a point of contention for a few.
"My partner and I have been coming here for ten years. It’s great after a bushwalk! I enjoy the atmosphere and like that it’s not too large. Recommend evening sessions for less people, but I think it’s better than others on the peninsula that cram people in and you never get into a pool.
Hepburn doesn’t seem to do that, and you can always get into a spa or pool somewhere. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Swing by Hepburn pizza after 👍"

"Came here on August 21 as a birthday present from my partner. We did the Mineral Bathing option, was pretty quiet so recommend coming mid week if you can!
You only get a choice of two pools, it is all indoors and it does get quite warm inside, so be sure to take water with you.
Overall, was a good experience but $60 is a bit steep for only two pools."

"This is second time I have come here and enjoyed both times. The private baths are very nice and the public ones are not absolutely packed like I have experienced at other hot springs, which just ruins the experience. They have a relaxing waiting room with nice music and decor. The guy that checked us in, Tye, was very friendly and welcoming. There is enough parking too."
