"Dead Man's Loop to Hut Road, passing picnic area to return. 2 hrs or so loop easy route. Pretty enough nature walk, great for families for some gold rush era education. Not a bad way to spend your weekend arvos especially if you're in Geelong area. Great drive into Steiglitz."

"A little town with a reasonable amount of history. Few older buildings around with a couple of them being lived in. Some information signs around with interesting information in regards to buildings, etc in the area. Court house is open on Sunday's for a few hours, run by volunteers. Great place for history buffs as well as ones whom want to get out."
