Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Queen's Park for its historical significance, particularly the ancient Baobab tree, and its role as a well-maintained green space in Bridgetown. It's appreciated for its cultural events, family-friendly amenities, and its function as a convenient city shortcut. Some parts are noted as still undergoing development.

"I've been coming to Queen's Park for decades, it's a park where lots of cultural outdoor activities and national events takes place annually along with an art gallery and museum inside.

The Park has well spread out grounds with room for tents, an entertainment stage and an on-site pavilion along with a cricket playing field and kids play area.

Having a North and South gate...the park acts as a short cut for pedestrians to get from one side to the other without having to use the busy street outside which has no sidewalks.

The park is well maintained with good upkeep of grounds with a nice fountain display into the shape of Barbados and it's parish pedestals signage, just as you would see it on a map.

Barbados's oldest tree can be found here with another less aged one in Warrens which I reviewed previously.

I recently attended a Father's day event which was quite nice and fun filled for the whole family with games and activities centered around honouring Fathers...a good visit when traversing through the city with nice benches to relax."
