Hey all, in Bridgetown for for four weeks on work. Any pro tips on what to do on my down time?
If I need some quiet time, the flower forest is an amazing walk. Recharges me! A paddle board from the cruising club in pebbles is a great experience too.

"Have been here several times while visiting Barbados. The views are gorgeous. The walk is short but not flat, wear sturdy shoes. The gift shop is awesome. Take your time and enjoy the Forrest bath. Also the Window of Hope art installation is breathtaking once you learn its story."

"This is certainly worth the trip. Lovely welcome and provided with a map to ensure you don't miss anything. Nice cafe for a drink and snack and good shop for souvenirs. We have visited most of the gardens in Barbados and this us certainly amoung the best."
Dave Dunne
"Such a wonderful and tranquil spot in Barbados requires a visit. This forest of flowers and shrubs and trees is spread over about 50 acres. There is a gift shop and a restaurant on the premises. If you plan to have lunch it is suggested that you place your order before you go and explore as it takes. While to prepare it. But check with the server. Clean restrooms are just by the dinning terrace. Touting the gardens is a self guided affair with information available at the front desk. Many of the plants and shrubs and trees you see as you walk along the paths have names. But a handout is also available which shows pictures and names of various heliconia etc. There benches placed at strategic spots to sit and take in the sights and feel the tranquility. The delightful sounds of the birds fill the air! The paths are paved but do meander and go up and down. Maybe difficult but not impossible for a wheelchair."
