"Superb private collection of Brazilian paintings from 30's to &50's. Very well organized and cared for. Clean and safe. Validation parking across the street. Small fee to enter. One can only imagine the political and business deals from decades past sealed within the confines of the museum. If you ever wandered what a tropical version of William Randolph Hearst would look like, this is the place."
Luiz Henrique Stockler
"We went on a guided tour of the current exhibition, house and garden of Roberto Marinho, a well know Brazilian publisher and business man who turned Globo from a newspaper, then radio and now one of the biggest national TV channel. Everything exposed belongs to the Marinho's family. They were mostly gifts from various artists throughout the decades. You can even see the changes in art from different time periods. The building has storage compartments for your bags, a small cafeteria, clean bathrooms and cold water. I totally advise a guided tour. If you're in Rio, I'm a local guide here.
