Reviews Summary

Wat Thmei is a profoundly moving and essential site for understanding Cambodia's tragic history. Visitors find the memorial stupa and exhibition rooms impactful, though the experience is somber. The small admission fee is considered well worth it to support the memorial and learn about the Khmer Rouge regime's atrocities. Reddit

"It is definitely a sobering experience, when you see firsthand the inhumanity that we can do upon each other. It's a small museum, you can probably finish it in about an hour, and there's a series of different rooms. There's enough text in English to be able to understand what's going on, and the first room houses painted pictures, and the second room has photographs. Probably the most chilling aspect is the actual glass covered killing Field with skeletons and Bones exposed. It's a $3 admission, which I will gladly pay to support their cause."
