"Gorgeous place for a walk in nature. The whole park is filled with beautiful birds and wildlife to observe respectfully and enjoy at a safe distance. Great flat paths for all including bikes. It’s especially gorgeous at sunset on a clear day. The whole place erupts with beautiful golden light as the sun goes down. So find a bench and enjoy the show. "Flat gravel path, beautiful scenery, and a decent parking lot. Walkers, runners, and cyclists all share this trail. The trail runs along the water and there is a bridge that crosses to the other side. There are two parking lots, one closer to the main road (approximately 10 spaces) and one further away that is bigger and closer to the public washroom and community garden. The day we went, we saw a beautiful heron standing by the water. The trail is very exposed so bring hat and sunscreen."
