"The Esquimalt Gorge Park & Pavilion has become a remarkable local wedding venue in recent years. The way the evening light sits in the upstairs makes for some lovely photograph details. It offers a diversity of ceremony locations and wonderful architectural details. Here are some highlights from an incredibly fun August wedding photography clients of mine from a wedding coordinated by Function Design House. I can't wait to be back."

"This park is so lovely! City staff do a great job with upkeep. There is lots of parking (including disabled spot and EV charging), picnic tables for small and large groups, lighting, playground, washrooms and water fountains, a paved walking path along the water with benches for sitting and taking in the view of wildlife or people on the water, and even a beach. Swimming not really recommend here as there is a lot of goose poop. Large green space and also an off leash dog area. The Japanese Garden is gorgeous and the new Pavillion is also a beautiful building. This would be an excellent location for a wedding."
