"A group of us went to this beautiful park yesterday (Friday, Aug. 23rd). We came here 2 years ago and liked it so much that we decided to return. Both times, it was not crowded and there was plenty of free parking! We had a wonderful walk through the park and by the Lake! The gentle breeze off the water was so refreshing as the day was hot ... and the scenery was gorgeous! Great place if you're into photography! We stopped at the snack bar by the harbour to enjoy a relaxing break while sipping on our delicious coffees! We brought our own potluck lunch and ate it under a large picnic shelter that was surprisingly not occupied when we got there! Then we had a fun time playing a game of Taboo! It was a bit of a drive for most of us, but well worth it!! I highly recommend visiting this park whenever you have a chance!! 😊👍💜"

"I love this park very much. It is lovely any time of the year. There is plenty of geese, ducks, and seagulls. Also, there are two swans living in the area, and we saw the baby swans in 2022. It is a beautiful park with many trails. A perfect spot to have a picnic on the beach, watch sail boats, or relax."

"Lovely scenic walk. Flat and easy stroll. Free parking. But I wouldn’t call it a beach. Nice to relax on the bench and hear the waves hit the shore. Magnificent sunset, you’ll also catch some ships or boats sailing by."
