What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Village au Pied-du-Courant for its vibrant atmosphere, unique riverside beach, and excellent fireworks views. The Sunday artisan market and diverse food truck options are also highlights. However, be prepared for long lines at food stalls and restrooms during peak times, and parking can be difficult to find.
"For the last fireworks it was packed . The washroom line was ridiculously long yet we all went for the view which we got . Parking was hard to find . Parking 2-3 streets away to be able to walk there . We were smart enough to leave the location 8 mins before the fireworks ends in order to be able to go get our car and get out before the crowd starts moving all at once . If there could be more washroom it would’ve been better in case of some busy occasions like this !"

"We paid $5 to enter. More less accesible to be with a wheelchair. I like the concept of having a path made of wood. Very crowded, DJ was pretty good. I recommend to eat something before coming . Food lines were horrible."

"First time at this place and it was definitely a fun outing to listen to nostalgic music and great remixes. It was a fun mix of food and drink vendors , outdoor basketball and other outdoor games like life size connect four.
A small notice is that you pay a deposit for all cups and containers to return at the end of the night but wasn't communicated until after I had thrown it away unknowingly.. thankfully I was able to recover it but keep this in mind when purchasing drinks.
The outdoor portable bathrooms are awful so if you can avoid them, I would do so at all costs.
Prices were fairly standard for outdoor venues and the drinks were nothing special with a combination of mixed punch drinks and canned drinks like beer and Whiteclaw.
Unfortunately, it rained that night with no cover in sight but made for a fun experience overall. Entry is 5$ and they take cash and card which always makes things easier."
